Can you believe the summer is almost over?

Dear Dance Friends,

Can you believe the summer is almost over?  It always goes too fast but this summer it has seemed unusually fast, probably because it didn’t really start for most of us square dancers in Cincinnati till the end of June when the National Convention was over and we could breathe and relax.

We have been enjoying the dangle dances this summer, celebrating our wonderful country, America the Beautiful.  Participation by our Cincinnati dancers has been great and I am eager to see how many will be showing off their new Federation dangle, which has the image of our American Flag on it.

And now many clubs are getting ready to start their fall dance lessons.  Club members have been putting up yard signs around the city and posting flyers in their neighborhood stores, beauty salons, YMCAs, libraries and other places to advertise the new classes.  And they have been telling their friends, families, and co-workers about the joys of square dancing.  If anyone wants information about square, round or line dance classes, please click on our “Classes” page and you will find a place and a time that will fit your schedule.

We are also making plans for our Annual Ronald McDonald Dance, which will be held on Sunday, Nov. 19, starting at 3:30.  Our dancers are so great every year to step up and contribute to the needs of our community and especially to this special place in our city.  Please look for more information regarding this dance in the next month.

We are continuing to make updates & upgrades to our website, so check back frequently to see what is new and interesting.
